INTERMEDIAL DIALOUGUE OF EPISTOLARY NOVEL AND CINEMA (BASED ON “DANGEROUS LIASONS” NOVEL BY CHODERLOS DE LA-CLOS)

Abstract
This article deals with the intermediality using “Dangerous Liaisons” novel by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos as an example. The main principles of a film adaptation as intermedial phenomenon are discussed. The works of modern researches concerning discussing problem are examined. It is analyzed the characteristics of an epistolary novel and the methods of its film adaptation. Conclusions are drawn to the literary text visualization.
