THE IMAGE OF IDEAL PARENTS IN TEENAGES` AND PARENTS` MINDS

Abstract
The semantic content of ideal parents` image of teenagers and parents are compared in the article. Adolescence – is the period when self-identity and representations of significant others (especially parents) is forming. The image of the "ideal other" creates prospects for self-development and reflects the expectations of teenagers. Discovered mismatch of expectations in semantic content of the image of "perfect parents" in the minds of teenagers and parents about satisfaction of needs emotional support and personal fulfillment. Found that for teenagers "perfect parents" - socially successful, healthy, self-realized, can support, and for parents – bearers of family functions.
