INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE OF COMPENSATION THE VICTIM’S DAMAGE AS ONE OF THE FORMS OF CRIME PREVENTION

Abstract
The article deals with international experience of compensation the victim’s damage of the crime. The au- thor presents the characteristics of restitution and compensation of damage as one of the forms of crime prevention and the problems of implementation of this institute after the entry into force the new Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine. It is found out that compensation of damage caused by an internationally wrongful act can be carried out in the form of restitution, compensation and satisfaction which may be used both independently and in combination. Choosing the form of compensation is important the choice of the victim’s state.
