Journal Title: Revista Institutului Național al Justiției - Year 2018, Vol 46, Issue 3

Abstract

Freedom of thought is a fundamental right enshrined in many universal and regional instruments on the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms. Relatively recently appeared this right, due to codification, has been repeatedly reiterated in international treaties, and its legal content has been enriched by the practice of international jurisdictions. Today, most of the world's states, including the Republic of Moldova, not only recognized the freedom of thought, conscience and religion in their internal legal order but also imposed additional guarantees for their exercise.
