INTERNATIONAL LEGAL STANDARDS OF JUSTICE AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROVISIONS OF THE CRIMINAL PROCEDURE LEGISLATION OF UKRAINE

Abstract
This article analyzes the displays of some international legal standards of justice in criminal procedural legislation of Ukraine, the main purpose of which is to ensure the right of defense in criminal proceedings. The author examines the adversarial model of the new Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, which provides more empowerment of the defense, which corresponds the international legal standards. He will provide more empowerment of the defense, which is consistent with established international legal standards. Special attention is also paid to the study of requirements which relate to the right to legal assistance in accordance with the practice of the European Court of Human Rights.
