Journal Title: MANAGERIAL CHALLENGES OF THE CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY - Year 2016, Vol 9, Issue 2
Abstract
Coping with climate change impact is an important challenge for people living in many developing countries. These countries face a double challenge: the worst weather pattern transformation due to climate change and lack of resources for the implantation of adaptation measures. The international support tackling these challenges was established by COP19. The preparation for this support consist in a knowledge building frame work that intends to clarify aspects such as vulnerability, risk management, capacity building, coordination, financial instruments, gradual change and others. The type of loss and damages and the directions of action to address them are discussed in more detail adding some comments on how these are relevant for financial allocation.
