INTERNATIONAL RESERVES AND UNOFFICIAL DOLLARIZATION IN UKRAINE AND POLAND: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS

Abstract
A quantitative estimation of the criteria for the adequacy of international reserves for Ukraine and Poland in 1997–2017 was made in the article. The authors proposed an analysis of unofficial dollarization in Ukraine and Poland in 1997–2018 using various methods of estimation. Conclusions about the sufficiency of the international reserves of Poland, problems with the insufficient international reserves in Ukraine and the higher level of dollarization of the Ukrainian economy during the years of observation were made in the article.
