International tourism as complex of production forces of Ukraine

Abstract
Introduction. The article deals with international tourism activity in the processes taking place in national territories. "International tourism" is defined as a socio-economic category. The international tourism under the influence of processes of globalization and integration, which acquires the most dynamic development and becomes one of the influential factors on which the growth of the economy depends is considered. Purpose. The emphasis is on the problems of integration processes of international tourism development, its peculiarity is revealed and the prospects of European integration of Ukraine in this area are determined. Results. The article analyzes the geopolitical aspects of the development of international tourism in Ukraine as a global phenomenon that carries out economic, social and international-political action. The potential of world tourist flows as factors of geopolitical influence, the structure of which reflects and influences tendencies of the international interaction is revealed. It has been found that over the past decade, Ukraine has become an attractive tourist destination, which, according to the number of international tourist arrivals (about 25 million), has become one of the top ten most visited countries in the world. Conclusion. It is established that the current dynamics of the international tourist flow in Ukraine is characterized by a sharp decrease in the volume of international visitors, a decrease in the rates of development of tourist activity and the reformatting of the spatial structure of the entrance and exit tourist flow. It is concluded that international tourism is not only the recipient of international relations, but also an active political actor who can become a channel for establishing international trust and cooperation.
