Internet – a new global telecom environment

Abstract
This article examines the history of the transformation of the local data network to the World information and communication network - the Internet. Snowballing growth of the Internet has led to fundamental changes in the functioning of society. Internet came into every home, has become a universal means of communication between people and getting any information at any point in the world. It is noted that to date, the leading role in providing advanced multiservice telecommunications users holds the global Internet, and based protocol is a protocol IP. In recent years, under the Internet of course, usually the network itself and the entire range of operating it application that transform it into a new economic and social environment. At relatively low cost has become possible using of all the information wealth of mankind. Internet from closed become a classic open telecommunications system, which determined its success and dissemination. The basic problem to be solved are underlined, because today the number of users across the globe is 3.36 billion and will grow further, also due to the Internet of things
