INTERNET SALES INSURANCE SERVICES: TRENDS AND PROSPECTS

Abstract
The characteristics and advantages of Internet sales of insurance services are investigated, current trends and prospects for their development are defined. The feasibility of the development of Internet sales of insurance services from the perspective of the insurer and the insured are revealed. international experience in this field is studied. It is found that online sales in developed countries have made significant spread and have significant potential. Special attention is paid to the fact that, despite the positive trends in the development of online sales of insurance services in the CIS countries, there are several factors that have a negative impact on their development: low insurance culture; distrust of electronic payments; the need for highly qualified professionals in the insurance companies and others. Measures contributing to enhance Internet sales of insurance services are identified
