Interpretation of selected notions concerning quality management in public academic institutions

Abstract
The article presents selected notions concerning quality management in reference to academic institutions and in view of the research conducted in those public academic institutions, which acquired quality management system compatible with the ISO 9001 standard. What can be concluded on the basis of this research is that basic term such as quality is understood as extent to which clients' requirements are being fulfilled and is related mainly to education process
