Introduction to Computer Graphics

Abstract

Computer graphics is a field which studies methods for digitally synthesizing and manipulating visual content. Computer Graphics is when pictures created using computers whereas the representation of image or data by a computer specifically with help of specialized graphic hardware and software. The term computer graphics has been used to describe "almost everything on computer that is not text or sound only". Typically, the term computer graphics has several different things:  The representation and alteration of image data by a computer.  Use of various technologies to create and manipulate images  It can be sub-field of computer science which studies methods for digitally synthesizing and manipulating visual content. Computer generated imagery can be categorized into several different types: Two dimensional (2D), three dimensional (3D), and animated graphics.
