Intrusion Protection System with Cognition Function

Abstract

An intrusion prevention system( IPS) combined with Soar was designed. By the cognitive technology of Soar,IPS had the function of cognition. The simulation results show that Soar can make a comprehensive study on the source data package. Once Soar meets the packages with similar features,these packets are directly labelled as scan packages,and stored into the knowledge base which can be used as the evaluation standard later. The system achieves the purpose of self-defense. To a certain extent,the demand of computer network security is met.
