INVENTAIRE DES ESPECES FONGIQUES DES EAUX MARINES DU LITTORAL OCCIDENTAL ALGERIEN
Journal Title: Larhyss Journal - Year 2008, Vol 7, Issue 7
Abstract
Many fungi isolated from the marine environment, from sediments and shells, suggesting that the oceans represent a vast fungi tank. Indeed, the littoral zones, rich in organic matter, constitute an ideal place for the fungus development and it was thus interesting to inventory the fungi species of algerian Western coastal water. The study of the macroscopic and microscopic aspects of the stocks insulated starting from sea water from the sediments and the mussels collected starting from the various zones from studies, showed the presence of several different species. 241 stocks were insulated and identified, ten kinds different of mushrooms according to the places, types of taking away and temperatures (12°C and 27°C) which are, by order of importance Penicillium 55.18%, Aspergillus 8.29%, Muccorales 6.63%, Trichoderma 5.80%, Cladosporium 3.73%, Fusarium 2.07%, Pullularia 1.24%, Acremonium 0.82%, Alternaria 0.82%, Verticillium 0.82%, Gliocladium 0.41%, Geotrichum 0.41% and not identified or sterile Mycelium 14.10%. Indexed genuses are known to produce mycotoxins and able to represent a toxic risk for shells and people consuming this seafood.
