Investigating the Relationship between Organizational Climate and Organizational Commitment among the Employees of Bank Branches in Shiraz

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between organizational climate and organizational commitment among employees Shiraz bank branches. Considering aim, the present research is functional and considering method, it is descriptive of cluster type. To conduct research, using multi-stage cluster sampling method, we selected 240 participants from employees of Shirazbankswho were working in 2017. The research tools consisted of two questionnaires about organizational climate and organizational commitment that were distributed among the sample. The necessary information was collected and analyzed with the SPSS software. To test the descriptive findings; mean, standard deviation, frequency, and percentage were used and for inferential statistics, we used multiple regressions analysis, analysis of multivariable variance, Pearson correlation coefficient. Also, the analysis of multivariable regression showed that there is a significant relationship between cooperative, intimate and imperative dimensions and organizational commitment. The result of two-factor variance analysis indicated that there is no significant relationship between organizational climate and organizational commitment regarding factors of marriage, age, education, and service life, but there is a meaningful relationship with regard to gender factor.
