INVESTIGATIONS OF THE PROCESS OF SURFACE-PLASTIC DEFORMATION DURING ROTARY PROCESSING

Abstract
This article discusses the process of surface plastic deformation in rotary processing. The technology of traditional machining for obtaining a high-quality surface of a part at a level: accuracy of 7-8 grades, surface roughness Ra <0.5 μm with hardened plastic deformation up to SPD of 30 % consists in turning, grinding and surface plastic deformation operations (SPD). Differently performing each of these operations in the above sequence, you have to spend a lot of technological time and money on the implementation of this technology. We also note that the operation of the SPD that is finished has a number of drawbacks in terms of ensuring requirements for the quality of the deformed surface layer and the most processed surface. For a detailed discussion of this problem, we turn to the schemes shown in Fig. 1. Where are the main ways of implementing the SPD.
