Investigations on the Emission characteristics of Diesel Engine Blende with Jatropha Oil and Di Methyl Ether
Journal Title: International Journal of Mechanical and Production Engineering Research and Development (IJMPERD ) - Year 2018, Vol 8, Issue 2
Abstract
Due to scarcity petroleum fuel researchers move to the alternative fuel. For choosing the alternative fuel another problem facing researcher because for biodiesel calorific value is very low so engine performance is reduced otherwise emission is increased in biodiesel compare to ordinary fuel. Some teacher change to compression ratio and injection or spark timing to increase the performance and reduce the emission. In this research work adding, biodiesel jatropha with additive DME( Di Methyl Ether) to calculate the performance and emission characteristics. Jatropha is non- edible oil most use ans alternative fuel for diesel due to performance is near to diesel fuel. Alcohol is mainly used as an for petrol due to the calorific value of alcohol near to petrol value. In this research by adding di methyl ether to increase the calorific value of jatropha fuel for compensatinge to diesel. A vVarious composition of jatropha and di ethyl ether to diesel fuel to run compression ratio and analysis the performance and emission characteristics in this research. By using jatrophoa and di methyl ether blend with diesel to a reduction of NOx emission at full load condition and also performance also increase at full load condition

A Novel Approach to Improve WEDM Performance on Inconel718, by Using Small Diameter Zinc Coated Wire
In this paper, a novel approach to increase the wire electrical discharge machining performance by using small diameter wire is presented. As wire in wire electrical discharge machining (WEDM) is the only externally adde...
Mechanical Failure Analysis of a Rake Unloading System using FTA and FMECA
Iron and Steel industries, raw materials are mostly transported, through the railway rakes. The railway provides some stipulated free time, for unloading the rakes and charges a penalty for the delay beyond the free time...
Cycle Time Optimized Path Planning for Industrial Robot using Robomaster
The main aim of the paper is to demonstrate the optimal cycle time taken by a 6 axis industrial robot, by following the shortest path. Planning for path is important because, it allows knowing about the path traversal of...
