INVESTMENT POTENTIAL OF AGRICULTURAL TERRITORIES: MAIN ASPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
Purpose. Identification of problematic issues for the development of investment potential of rural areas; conducting an estimation of natural factors of formation of investment potential of rural territories; disclosure of priority areas of effective use of natural potential of rural territories and investigation of the influence of investment potential on the creation of organizational and legal and socio-economic conditions for the integrated development of rural areas. Methodology of research. To achieve the goal of the study, the following methods were used: a systematic approach (for consideration of the components of the investment potential of rural areas in the interconnection and interaction with the components of other systems); causative method (to identify the economic, social, legal content of the study); comparative method (for the analysis of statistical indicators and the identification of trends in the influence of socio-economic factors on the research results); graphic method (for visualizing the results of the study). Findings. It was determined that in order to ensure the investment activity of rural areas, it is necessary to develop an appropriate strategy aimed at increasing the standard of living and social protection of rural population based on investment activity and rational use of economic potential. It was established that in order to encourage investment, the state primarily aims at ensuring the stability of the legislative field, reliable protection of property rights, reducing corruption, supporting the banking sector, the use of international rules of investment. Originality. Measures to increase the efficiency of management of investment processes for the development of socio-economic potential of rural areas and interaction between local executive authorities and local self-government bodies were substantiated, on the basis of the authority to coordinate joint actions on the management of the respective levels of administration. The mechanism of attraction of foreign investments in the development of socio-economic potential of rural territories was determined, which will provide creation of attractive investment climate. Practical value. The results of research can be used in determining the further directions of the reformation of sustainable development of rural areas.
