IRRATIONAL PHILOSOPHICAL BASIS OF MODERNISM IN LVIV IN A EUROPEAN CONTEXT

Abstract
This article discusses the process of changing the rationalistic worldview on irrationalistic-philosophical paradigm in the late nineteenth century. – 30-ies of XX century that radically affected the change in aesthetic criteria in Europe. This change is clearly manifested in the era of modernism in architecture of Lviv, which at that time was a province of Austria-Hungary, and later one of the cultural centers of Poland.
