IRYNA ZHYLENKO’S ARTISTIC WORD (BASED ON THE LYRICAL WORKS PUBLISHED IN THE “DNIPRO” MAGAZINE IN THE 1960)

Abstract
The article describes Iryna Zhylenko’s lyrical works, published in the 1960s in the “Dnipro” magazine. The key motifs, gist and the peculiarities of the poet’s artistic idiostyle are investigated. It is also analysed the semantics of core images and a variety of literary colours, aimed at emphasizing the conceptual idea of poetry revealed in the research. It is shown that Iryna Zhylenko has managed to depict brightly the inner world of a woman as a house keeper, mother and poet due to the combination of high-flown and common matters, as well as the use of metaphors and imagination. It is investigated that Iryna Zhylenko has presented a world full of love and joy, where a man exists in harmony with nature. Subjectivism, emotionality and aesthetics are those crucial features appearing to sound quite natural in the author’s poetry.
