Історія вивчення рідкісних видів рослин Українських Карпат. І період перед Другою Світовою війною

Abstract
Описано історію вивчення рідкісних видів рослин Українських Карпат у період від ХІХ століття до ІI Світової війни. Охарактеризовано доробок представників різних наукових шкіл, які працювали в регіоні. Їхні дослідження розвивалися від окреслення видового складу флори, встановлення її раритетної компоненти і виявлення локалітетів до з’ясування основних закономірностей поширення значної кількості рідкісних видів, що наведено насамперед у працях Г. Запаловича (Zapałowicz, 1889) і Б. Павловського (Pawłowski, 1948). Крім публікацій, важливі відомості про виявлення рідкісних видів містяться в багатих гербарних матеріалах. Аналіз давніх джерел у порівнянні з теперішнім поширенням та станом популяцій загрожених видів дає можливість з’ясувати їхню довготермінову динаміку. Сучасні знання про хорологію та ступінь загроженості рідкісних видів рослин в Українських Карпатах базуються на величезному доробкові згаданих попередників, що ліг в основу розвитку сучасної мережі природоохоронних територій.
