Abstract
У статті узагальнено і систематизовано передумови і фактори, що зумовили розвиток підготовки вчителів математики в Україні впродовж II пол. XX – поч. XXI століття; наголошується на важливості державного управління системою освіти майбутніх учителів математики, а також звертається увага влади до організації навчального процесу у вищих педагогічних закладах України. На основі історикопедагогічної літератури подані історичні відомості щодо розвитку підготовки вчителів математики.
