JUVENILE DELINQUENCY – HISTORICAL EXCURSION

Abstract
The article considers an issue of juvenile delinquency through the historical prism. Experts consider that it is more efficient to direct efforts towards the prevention of juvenile crime rather than to punish when the offence is committed. The author considers views of scholars on this issue, existing problems within the framework of youth crime, and makes proposals aimed at increasing effectiveness of solving this issue.
