Abstract
By analyzing the scientific sources, compile the existing approaches was refined categorical and conceptual apparatus of the study of problems of training of teachers of musical art to the civil education of students. Essence of concepts is specified: "preparation", "readiness", "teacher of musical art", "education", "civil education", "civil values" and others. This made it possible to find out that the person who is at the high level of his civil development is necessarily determined by the formation of civil values. As a result of clarification of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the study of the formation of the training of teachers of musical art for the civil education of students, it became clear that this problem can be solved only in the system of complex application of theoretical and methodological approaches. This will contribute to the concretization and systematization of the tasks of formation and development of professionally important properties of future teachers of musical art in the process of their professional training. The prospect of further research is the determination of criteria, indicators and signs of formation of readiness of teachers of musical art to the civil education of students and the development of a methodology for determining the level of this education on this basis.
