Key Points in FAO System Integrated Technology Management
Journal Title: Urban Mass Transit - Year 2024, Vol 27, Issue 11
Abstract
Objective To ensure the compatibility and consistency of functionality, requirements, and interfaces within FAO (fully automatic operation) system, it is necessary to design tasks for each key stage based on the characteristics of FAO system and to outline the key points of integrated technology management for the critical stages. Method Starting from the core specialized systems involved in FAO system integration, the key points for the integrated technology management at each stage are sorted out in detail based on the management work of each core specialized system, including functionality design, interface consistency, technical coordination, and interface coordination in above-mentioned FAO system management critical stages. Taking FAO system network structure design and interlocking technology solutions as example, the specialized design management phase is explained with emphasis. Result & Conclusion During the bidding support phase, it is crucial to focus on the interlocking function, system performance, redundancy, and safety requirements of the core specialized systems, clarifying functional requirements, interface requirements, interface supply requirements, and interface party responsibilities related to FAO. In the functional design phase, structural design is used to redefine the scenario files, extracting the functionalities needed by each core specialized system and integrating these functions into a detailed design for each above system. During the requirement management phase, a closed-loop management approach is adopted for FAO scenario files from system integration perspective, ensuring that all requirements are decomposed into the core specialized systems, and effectively implemented. In the specialized design management phase, key new technology solutions, such as interlocking technology, data implementation, network structure design, wake-up and sleep, and remote control, need to be studied in detail. During the interface management phase, the interfaces between multiple specialized systems from the system integration perspective should be managed.
