Abstract
Approaches for the development of legislation of autonomous vehicles in the works of the United Nations economic commission for Europe (UNECE) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) The purpose of this article is an attempt of describing the approaches for the development of legislation of autonomous vehicles (connected cars). The paper analyzes the definition of autonomous driving functioning in public international law, as well as it presents a description of the legislative plans regulating the autonomous vehicles in the works of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
