Kierunki rozwoju koncepcji wychowania obywatelskiego w Polsce po II wojnie światowej – wprowadzenie do problematyki

Abstract

The concept of "civil society" and "civic education" succeeded after 1989 - in the scientific world and social consciousness, fed by political visions of building a new society. However, it should be noted that this term and its designation have already appeared before. In this article, I would like to analyse the basic directions of development of the concept of civic education in the context of changes in its way of understanding, preferred goals and desirable content after the Second World War. This article is contributing to the initial delineation of the research field by gathering basic information about the conception of civic education in Polish society to this day.
