KITCHEN ISLAND FURNITURE DESIGN FOR RESIDENTIAL HOUSES
Journal Title: Journal of Industrial Design and Engineering Graphics - Year 2017, Vol 12, Issue 1
Abstract
In terms of spatial configuration, kitchens design is related to the number of work fronts, shapes and their arrangement in the assembly, storage and distribution areas, as well as the location of the dining place. This paper focuses upon designing a prototype by taking into account the kitchen geometry, as well as different materials and their properties, thus providing an optimum combination of materials likely to ensure a long lifespan of the product at a minimum cost.

ASPECTS REGARDING THE DEVELOPMENTS OF COMPOUND SURFACES
The compound surfaces which form the technical parts of metal woks are very diverse. Their practical production involves solving certain geometrical problems through the methods of descriptive geometry. This article wish...
BUILDING A PERGOLA IN CAD SYSTEMS
In this paper the authors present a study and the conclusions they reached, regarding the possibility to automatically representing a pergola, when a CAD system is used. Also, a computer program, made by the authors is p...
STUDIES REGARDING THE STATIC ANALYSIS OF TRUSS STRUCTURES
This paper refers to linear static analysis of truss and beams structures modelled in SolidWorks. In SolidWorks truss and frame elements are available only for staticstudies. For illustration it was modelled and studied...
ACTUAL PERFORMANCE 3D RESTRICTIONS OF INVENTOR 2015
The work ranges between papers that leave detailed documentation based on the analysis of current performance 3D constraints, the Autodesk Inventor 2015 and draws a number of conclusions in general about this latest soft...
SOME SURFACES OF SECOND ORDER AS EXAMPLES OF WEBER`S SURFACES
In this paper we consider some surfaces of second order as surfaces generated from focaldirectorial elements (point, line, plane). Extraction of parts of the surface according to appropriate algebraic-geometric condition...
