Abstract
Denysyk G.I., Valchuk-Orkusha O.M. Classification and optimization of road landscapes. The problem of classification and optimization of road landscapes in one of the regions of Ukraine - Podillya is considered. In the structure of the road landscapes of this region, the following types are distinguished: floodplain, terraced, slope, sloping and water divisions, and also characteristic only for Podillia - lowland and Tver. The taxonomic system of the class of road landscapes contains subclasses, zonal-azonic types and their variants, classification of road landscapes by types of terrain with the subsequent allocation in their structure of the corresponding types and types of road tracts. Four types of economic-landscape-based approaches to the process of designing the future road landscapes of Podillya, which will allow more rationally combine the automobile transport corridors of Ukraine and Europe, and also optimize the development of adverse processes in regional systems of road landscapes, are substantiated.
