Abstract
Комплексное изучение муниципального права в Российской Федерации предполагает обращение к опыту зарубежных государств, в том числе знание основных моделей местного самоуправления в зарубежных странах. Количество классификаций таких моделей значительное. Наиболее простой является классификация моделей местного самоуправления на три типа: англосаксонский, континентальный (романо-германский) и смешанный.
