KNEE OSTEOARTROSIS MODELING IN DOGS

Abstract

The article presents the results of conducted researches on osteoarthrosis modeling in dogs using the Pond-Nuki surgical method. The method of surgical operation and pereparing of histopreparations is described. The presence of expressive microscopic changes in tissue is described; and macroscopic changes in the joint. Its noted that osteoarthritis of the knee joint of dogs in the articular cartilage of the femur reveals the destruction of the surface layers of the articular cartilage, the disordered location of chondrocytes, the destruction and lysis of the part of chondrocytes, as well as the reduction of the content of glycoproteins in the intercellular substance.
