KOLLEKTION «BUKOVINENZIA» AS ONE OF THE PEARLS OF THE SCIENTIFIC LIBRARY OF YURIY FEDKOVYCH CHERNIVTSI NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

Abstract
The article describes the ethnographic component of the scientific library of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, namely the collection of national significance – «Bukovinensia». Studies of local lore are one of the leading areas of search and information activity of the Scientific Library of Chernivtsi University. «Bukovinensia» is a package of documents related to the University, manuscripts, works of distinguished scholars who were associated with Bukovina and Chernivtsi, local lore calendars, bindings of newspapers in different languages: German, Romanian, and Polish, as also the bindings of «Bukovina» – the first Ukrainianlanguage newspaper in Chernivtsi.
