Abstract

The article reveals the contents of the complex system of exercises, the process of step-by-step formation of knowledge and skills in a training of painting. The theory of a phased study of new material made it possible to identify types and varieties of exercises and to combine them into a complex system. The system consists of preparation exercises, short-term training drills and longtime-creative exercises having their own goals and objectives, contributing to a deep and comprehensive study of nature, creative approach in a training of painting. The purpose of the preparatory exercises is to study new concepts and laws of the pictorial language. Short-term training drills are designed to focus the attention of students to specific regularities of painting, to accumulate the sum of knowledge and practical skills. The various mental and practical operations that are necessary to solve learning tasks are worked out and consolidated in a short-term training drills. Longtime creative exercises is a synthesis of previously acquired knowledge and skills, requiring a solution of a complex of learning tasks, resulting in the image become a holistic. The necessary conditions for success in the training of painting are awareness, a clear delineation and the steady fulfillment of the tasks at each stage of study.
