Korzenie albo słodko-gorzkie przyprawy „nowego regionalizmu”

Abstract
The review is an evaluation of a post-conference tome Nowy regionalizm w badaniach literackich. Badawczy rekonesans i zarys perspektyw, edited by Małgorzata Mikołajczak and Elżbieta Rybicka. The author focuses on theoretical propositions included in the book, situating them in the context of a topographical shift and a revival of interest in regional literature, which cannot be reduced to notions of “small homeland” or “spice literature”. She discusses strategies and interpretations presented in the articles, chiefly devoted to literature on cross-border areas: Western Lands, Podlasie, and Upper Silesia. In the review, the author agrees with the point on the importance of discovering non-canonical literature and the potential of critical “peripheral” writing, but doubts are also expressed, since the status of the new regionalism is in itself problematic. Le compte rendu se propose de présenter les actes du colloque, Nowy regionalizm w badaniach literackich. Badawczy rekonesans i zarys perspektyw [Le nouveau régionalisme dans les recherches littéraires. Vers un examen scientifique et une ébauche de perspectives], sous la rédaction de Małgorzata Mikołajczak et Elżbieta Rybicka. L’auteure de cette esquisse se concentre d’abord sur les propositions théoriques prises en considération dans le livre, en les situant dans le contexte du tournant topographique et du renouveau de l’intérêt porté à la littérature de terroire qui ne se réduit pas au concept de petites nations ou à la « prose de racines ». L’auteure présente les straté gies et les interprétations dont il est question dans les articles faisant partie du volume et concernant notamment la littérature des terrains frontaliers : des terrains d’Ouest, de la Podlachie et de la Haute Silésie. L’auteure du compte rendu confirme, à la suite des auteurs de l’ouvrage cité ci-dessus, la portée de la (re)découverte de la littérature dépassant les canons littéraires et le potentiel critique de la littérature « périphérique » ; cependant, il y a aussi quelques doutes. Par exemple, le statut du nouveau régionalisme semble susciter des controverses.
