Malowanie trawy. Rzecz (jeszcze) mniejsza o peryferyjnej humanistyce

Abstract
The text attempts to resolve the narrative impasse perpetuating in analyses and reconstructions of the local humanities position in the field of local and supra-local competition. The basic proposal that can lead to the most sensible and credible debate in this matter is the preliminary establishment of the local representatives of (broadly understood) humanities beyond the standard narratives (progress, backwardness, worldliness etc.) and fantasies abundantly present in this discourse. This suggestion may be strongly uncomfortable for the actors acting in this field, but it seems that without undertaking such a confrontation these analyzes and debates will remain sterile, regardless of how instrumentally effective they may be in clashes between individual fractions within the local field of humanities. Le texte tente d’encourager le dépassement d’une impasse narrative fonctionnant dans les tentatives d’analyse et de reconstruction de la position des sciences humaines locales sur le champ de la concurrence locale et supra locale. La proposition de base qui peut mener au débat raisonnable et crédible est une définition préliminaire des positions des représentants locaux des sciences humaines au sens large en dehors des narrations standard (du progrès, de l’arriération, de la mondanité) et des fantaisies en abondant dans ce discours. Cette proposition peut être naturellement très inconfortable auprès des acteurs agissant sur ce champ. Toutefois, sans le moindre essai de la confrontation éloignée des narrations actuelles de « l’universalité » ou bien de « l’innéité » (dans leurs formes conservatives, réactives et progressives), les analyses en question se caractérisent par une certaine stérilité indépendamment de leur efficacité dans les bagarres sur le champ local (entre autres) des sciences humaines entre les fractions particulières de leurs représentants.
