Köztesség és érzékelés. Digitális média és építészeti tér kapcsolata a TIFF fesztiválon / Digital Media and Architectural Space at TIFF
Journal Title: ME.dok - MÉDIA–TÖRTÉNET–KOMMUNIKÁCIÓ - Year 2017, Vol 0, Issue 2
Abstract
The paper investigates from the perspective of contemporary postphenomenology the relationship between audio-visual media and architecture using the example of the Transylvania International Film Festival (TIFF). The hypothesis of the paper is that the elements of audiovisual media used within the TIFF determine both phenomenologically and physically the urban space of the city. These instances of contemporary media affect not only the physical perception of architectural space but the cultural image of the city as well. The purpose of the paper is to investigate the characteristics of the augmented reality created by the intersection between the virtual space of media and the physical space of the city.
