КРИТЕРІАЛЬНО-ОРІЄНТОВАНІ ТА НОРМАТИВНО-ОРІЄНТОВАНІ ТЕСТИ В УМОВАХ КОМПЕТЕНТНІСНОГО ПІДХОДУ

Abstract
The aspects of introduction of innovative methods and forms of training and knowledge assessment are studied in the context of the development of a competence approach to teaching. Particular attention is paid to the forms and methods of final assessment of students' knowledge, in particular, the method of final testing - criteria-oriented tests and their comparison with normative-oriented tests. Their common features and differences are studied: the structure, goals, specificity of information, methods of designing and processing data. The results of a study on the appropriateness of using criterion-oriented and normative-oriented tests for determining the level of students' proficiency in professionally directed competencies are presented at the final certification. The data obtained during the study showed a difference in the distribution of test scores and slight differences in finding the average score. It is proved that the parallel use of the two types of testing is advisable, in particular with a view to determining the quality of teaching and the differentiation of students.
