Journal Title: International Research Journal of Applied and Basic Sciences - Year 2012, Vol 3, Issue 12

Abstract

The rate of climate change was very horror which public notions state the necessity of decreasing Greenhouse gases emissions in international conferences and covenants.Kyoto Protocol has28 articles and 2 appendixes. In this protocol, the goals, bligations, principles and protocol pillars and are discussed. The Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), defined in Article 12 of the Protocol, allows a country with an emission-reduction commitment under the Kyoto Protocol (Annex B Party) to perform an emission-reduction project in developing countries. Zero Net Energy Buildings are buildings meaning deliver as much energy to the supply grids as they use from the grids.and Zero Carbon Buildings are buildings that over a year do not use energy that implicate carbon dioxide emission. this study indicades the role of zero-energy buildings in the Kyoto Protocol and CDM projects.
