LA SITUACIÓN DE MIGRANTES EN ECUADOR

Abstract
The growing wave of migrants, which for times related to political and economic contexts has manifested itself in South American countries, demands the coordination of policies between regions, countries and governments to turn the phenomenon of migration into an increasingly orderly process. The objective is the analysis of the evolution of the migratory process in Ecuador until arriving to evaluate its current condition. The methods of analysis, synthesis, induction and deduction were applied; finding that the evolution of the migration process in Ecuador, is framed in essential issues such as its background, figures and the challenge that has been presented as a host country. It is concluded that the new challenge in the South American countries that have been affected by the magnitude of the migratory phenomenon, is to promote an understanding that protects both the fragility condition of these migrants, and their situation in the host countries, as well as the preservation of the conditions of the state in favor of its nationals.
