LANGUAGE AS THE INDICATION OF THE SOCIAL AND CULTURAL IDENTITY OF STUDENTS

Abstract

In thе article the role and function of language are analyzed in both professional and social and cultural aspects. Understanding language as the cultural phenomenon, specific student communication is analyzed, one of the negative factors of which is the usage of restricted code of language such as a strong language. The cultural context of strong language is viewed, it is showed negative influence of strong language on personal and professional communication. It is proposed the notion “language and social and cultural competence of student”, which is revealed as the social and cultural identity of personality, belonging to certain professional group. One of the methods to form such competence is language and pedagogical communication.
