Abstract
In this study dedicaded to the architect’s paradigm in the De Opificio of Philo of Alexandria (Opif. 17-22), we show how, using the technic’s schematism (creation of an ideal city in the head of a king, his geometrical construction and his realisation), the Alexandrian expresses in an analogical way, the development of intelligibility in the sensory world (Platonic philosophy) in commenting the narrative of the Creation of the world (Gn 1).
