Abstract
The role of alumni of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in the Novhorod-Siverskyi patriotic group. Some biographical information about these is given. High importance of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy for the development of legal education, science and practice in the Ukrainian lands is emphasized. Activities Novhorod-Siverskyi patriotic group analyzed as a political, religious, and cul- tural areas, including the areas of music and art, but the main emphasis was placed exactly on Ukrainian heritage. Established that legal issues dealt with in the content and form of Novhorod-Siverskyi patriotic group, whose members were people from KMA: O. K. Lobysevych, O. D. Divovych (Dzivovych), M. K. Znachko-Yavorsky, V. V. Kapnist, T. V. Kalynskyy, P. G. Koropchevskyy, G. A. Politica, P. I. Simonovsky, F. O. Tumanskiy, A. M. Khudorba, G. S. Shishatskiy (Varlaam). Feelings of patriotism and love for his native country, which brought in its graduates Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, played a role in further practice КМА-graduates is emphasized. Studied a significant number of pupils KMA composed of Novhorod-Siverskyi patriotic group appears that activities reflect the latest state-legal views КМА-graduates that combined the idea of autonomous or independent Ukraine, and the ability to overcome Russian domi- nation in the Ukrainian lands. We study the views of members of the circle. Investigated the participants circle followed these views, wide autonomy in Ukraine the Russian Empire (particularly in the cultural, administrative and territorial ecclesiastical spheres), but also allow for the possibility of using foreign assistance from the exit of Ukraine. It was believed that the head of state must be Hetman and Cossack officers equated with Russian officers (sometimes - the boyars). Also fought for recognition of the rights of the nobility Cossack and Ukrainian nobility in Empire.
