LEGAL ASPECTS OF THE APPLICATION OF THE LATEST TECHNOLOGIES IN THE FUNCTIONING OF TRANSPORT SYSTEMS

Abstract
The article analyzes the current state of functioning of transport systems in Ukraine, as well as considering the use of modern technologies such as blockchain in transport, in particular in the maritime industry. The article gives a definition of blockchain, and also discusses the advantages of using this technology in the process of registering sea vessels. A step-by-step analysis of the use of blockchain during registration is done. The author substantiates the advantages of using blockchain before the existing system of entering data on ships in registers and protecting these data. In addition, the proposals on the introduction of modern technologies (blockchain) in the functioning of transport systems, in particular, on the sea transport.
