LEGAL BASIS OF ACTIVITY NATIONAL POLICE OF UKRAINE UNDER THE RULE OF LAW

Abstract
The paper paid attention to doctrinal understanding of the rule of law. Tendencies introduction of the rule of law in the activities of the National Police of Ukraine based primarily on the content of art. 6 of the Law of Ukraine “On the national police” and the relevant case law of the European Court of Human Rights. It is proved that the rule of law is essential in the work of the National Police Ukraine both in terms of law-making and in terms of enforcement.
