LEGAL CUSTOM IN THE CURRENT LEGAL SYSTEM OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The role and place of legal custom in the current legal system of Ukraine are researched. Kinds of customs, to which the acts of the current legislation refer, are analyzed. Significance of customary law in civil, commercial, family and other branches of Ukrainian private law is highlighted. The influence of customs on the regulation of public-legal relations is characterized. Ways of increasing the efficiency of using customary law in the legal system of Ukraine are proposed.
