Legal protection of property in the period of totalitarianism

Abstract
The article deals with the peculiarities of responsibility for theft and expropriation of socialist property. The extremely cruel nature of the adopted normative legal acts, which provided for the application of a higher degree of punishment, long terms of imprisonment, sentencing to serving sentences in concentration camps, and detailed regulation of the return of property and funds, were shown.
