LEGAL REGULATION OF PUBLIC PROCUREMENT IN THE EUROPEAN UNION

Abstract
The article is devoted research of modern state of legal regulation of public procurement in the EU. Summarizes the legal framework for public procurement, analysis of the EU Directives on public procurement and the Agreement on the gradual adaptation of national legislation in the sphere of public/government procurement to the EU legislation. Based on the analysis of the directions of improvement of legal regulation of public/government procurement in Ukraine, which will contribute to the implementation of Ukraine’s obligations under the Association Agreement. Made in the article, the findings can serve as a tool to determine the changes required in the Law of Ukraine «On public procurement».
