LEXICOGRAPHIC PRINCIPLES OF COMPILING A DICTIONARY-ACTIVATOR

Abstract
This article overviews the basic lexicographic principles of compiling a dictionary-activator. The author of the article elucidates the definition of the dictionary-activator as a type of lexicographic source. The guiding principles of compiling any type of dictionary are analyzed in detail. Different approaches to distinguishing of universal compilation principles are paid a special attention to. Based on stated approaches the most appropriate principles of compiling a dictionary-activator are pointed out.
