Abstract
On the example of the library The Scientific Library of The Khmelnytskyi National University considered the history and components of spiritual and cultural wealth of the university library, which in 55 years has become a treasure of knowledge and a basis for further expansion of educational, scientific and cultural potential of the region. The subject of research is the history of the university library and its resource base as part of the spiritual treasury of the university. Research carried out by analysis and comparison, the study documents from the history the library and the university on the basis of personal of work experience in library. Research has scientific and practical importance and will be useful for local historians, students and library professionals and managers of universities
