LIE-ALGEBRA AND MODIFIED JACOBI POLYNOMIALS
Journal Title: Journal of Science And Arts - Year 2013, Vol 23, Issue 2
Abstract
In the present paper, L. Weisner’s group-theoretic method has been utilized in obtaining generating functions of , a modification of the Jacobi polynomials - In section 1, with the suitable simultaneous interpretations of the index and the parameters of the modified Jacobi polynomials, a set of linear partial differential operators, their commutators and the extended form of the groups corresponding to the operators are introduced and on showing that they form a four diamentional Lie algebra, we obtain in section 3, a novel generating relation for the polynomial under consideration which in turn yields a number of generating relations most of which are seem to be new.

A CLASS OF FUNCTIONAL EQUATIONS FOR INVOLUTIVE AUTOMORPHISMS OF n – GROUPS
In a n-group (G,[ ]) consider the following functional equations: (Ep): ... In the case of groups these equations were studied by I. Corovei and V. Pop [4]. We study this class of equations and characterize their solutio...
ABOUT A TECHNIQUE OF SOLVING SOME DIFFERENTIAL STOCHASTIC ITÔ EQUATIONS
The differential stochastic systems modeled the evolutive phenomena of environment influenced by stochastic forces. In this article it solved, using the Itô’s formula, some differential stochastic systems for a vibrating...
THERMOELECTRIC GENERATOR WITH POLYCRYSTALLINE SILICON MATERIAL
Compared to bulk technology, the key advantages of integrated micro devices designed with thousands of thermocouples are their ability to handle much higher heat fluxes, their much faster response time as well as the pos...
ON GENERATING FUNCTIONS OF MODIFIED LAGUERRE POLYNOMIALS
In the present paper, we obtain a theorem on bilateral generating functions of ƒnß+n (x) , a modification of ƒ nß (x) by introducing a novel linear partial differential operator obtained by the suitable interpretations o...
A STUDY OF THE TEMPERATURE ON THE TiO2 THIN FILMS SURFACE DEPOSED ON GLASS IN THE MULTIPULSE IRRADIATION REGIME
This article is based on solving the heat equation in the particular case of thin films of TiO[sub]2[/sub] on glass base. The solution of the equation allows establishing the temperature on the film surface within the co...
